Dot Physical
Urinalysis
The physical exam is required to ensure that a person is medically fit to operate a CMV safely. For the test a urine sample is collected to test for protein, blood, and sugar.
Height and Weight
Height, weight, and BMI are all measured to check out the phycial condition of the patient.

Vision Test
You must have a minimum distance visual acuity of 20/40, with or without corrective lenses:
- With both eyes together, see at least 20/40
- With the right eye, you should be able to see at least 20/40
- With the left eye, you should be able to see at least 20/40
Hearing Test
With or without the use of a hearing aid, the driver must be able to perceive a forced whisper voice in one ear at a distance of no less than five feet. the medical examiner will order an audiometry test for him based on the results of the whisper test.
